Standard Warranty Coverage

  • Tulp Outdoor provides a standard 5-year warranty on all our garden furniture for consumer use. We believe in the long-lasting quality of our products, which is why we stand behind them.
  • For our exceptionally robust hospitality program, we have a standard 2-year warranty.
  • The warranty period starts from the date of purchase, with the original purchase receipt serving as proof. Any repair or replacement under warranty does not affect the original warranty period.

Warranty Claims Process

  1. In the rare event that a defect or damage occurs due to manufacturing defects or transportation, please follow our service and warranty procedure.
  2. Notify the point of sale where you purchased the Tulp Outdoor product, including providing the original purchase receipt.
  3. The point of sale will guide you through the service procedure, and they will transmit the report to Tulp Outdoor’s service department, including relevant details and, if possible, images.
  4. The consumer is responsible for transporting the furniture to the Tulp Outdoor point of sale (retailer).
  5. Our dedicated team at Tulp Outdoor will review the damage or defect, and based on our discretion, repair it or replace parts. If a repair is not possible, we will consider replacing the entire piece with a new model. If this option is chosen, only the damaged portion will be replaced, not the entire set. In cases where parts or specific models are no longer available, Tulp Outdoor reserves the right to replace them with comparable products.

Exclusions from Warranty

Tulp Outdoor’s garden furniture is designed for private, domestic use and is of the highest quality. However, certain exclusions apply:

  • Damage resulting from incorrect assembly (please refer to the assembly manual provided with each piece of furniture).
  • Any abnormal load placed on the furniture.
  • Incorrect or incompetent use of the furniture.
  • Incorrect maintenance and the use of aggressive (cleaning) agents other than the recommended Tulp Outdoor maintenance products.
  • Repairs attempted by individuals without professional expertise.
  • Damage caused by extreme weather conditions.
  • Large-scale use, such as contract and/or project use.

Damage or changes that occur due to the natural properties of materials:

  • Wood (Teak): Natural aging and discoloration, hairline cracks, and staining from natural oils.
  • Steel / Aluminum / Stainless Steel / Synthetic Materials: Scratches and signs of use resulting from regular household use, rusting of steel or stainless steel from the inside due to various factors, and other abnormal environmental conditions.
  • Outdoor Textiles: Signs of use, minimal shrinkage, discoloration, and decreased bearing capacity during normal use.
  • Rope / Wicker / Cord: Signs of use from regular household use.
  • HPL / Ceramic: Stains from food or liquids, exposure to sunlight through glass, and hot materials.

Inappropriate covering of garden furniture that leads to mold formation or discoloration of materials not covered by the warranty. Tulp Outdoor recommends using high-quality covers with breathing properties or not covering garden furniture at all.
